30th Annual African-American Heritage Day Parade – August 26, 2017

 

The African-American Heritage Day Parade Association is proud to hold the 2017African-American Heritage Day Parade in the Hill District of the City of Pittsburgh, on Saturday, August 26, 2017.

 

The 2017 Parade will start at Watt and Wylie avenues, proceed to Kirkpatrick and Centre and end at Grove and Centre avenues. 

 

This year’s AAHDP will feature:

 

*Ms. Karen West, owner of West Funeral Home as the Grand Marshal.

 

*Old School Street Dance from 1pm to 3pm at Centre and Grove reviewing stand

 

* WQUED documentary Wylie Avenue Days, Teenie Harris photo display and a collection of Hill District artifacts from 1pm to 4pm at the Hill District Carnegie Library.

 

* Youth Dance Battle Competition from 1pm to 4pm at the Hill House Kaufman Center
