National Black MBA Association, Pittsburgh Chapter
The Pittsburgh Chapter has over 240 members consisting of MBA’s, business students, entrepreneurs and other distinguished leaders in business, education, and other sectors in the community.

African American Chamber of Commerce of Western Pennsylvania
Its mission is to promote access and business opportunities for African American business owners and professionals throughout the region. Check out its website for various programs and services it offers.

The African American Leadership Association (AALA)
The organization dedicated to providing African Americans and minorities with: exposure, enrichment, opportunities and access to leadership positions.

August Wilson Center for African American Culture
It engages regional and national audiences in its mission of preserving, presenting, interpreting, celebrating and shaping the art, culture and history of African Americans in Western Pennsylvania.

Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, Inc. Pittsburgh Chapter
It is dedicated to providing a forum for individuals to network and share genealogical and historical research methodology and enhancing the heritage of African-Americans.

Soul Pitt’s Spiritual section
It is dedicated to promoting spiritual news and events in the Black Community in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas.

Mt. Ararat Baptist Church
Since Reverend Dr. William H. Curtis’ arrival at Ararat, the church has grown from 400 to over 7,500 with four worship services each weekend.
