Superintendent's Monthly Message- December 2017

As part of Superintendent Hamlet’s Monthly Message for December he goes inside Pittsburgh Perry PSAT. As part of the district-wide PSAT Day, we ensured all 10th and 11th grade PPS students could take the Preliminary SAT at no cost. Our 8th grade students will take the PSATs in the Spring, and our 11th Graders will take the SATs on March 7th. This will be the first year PPS covers the cost for all 11th graders to take this important exam. The development of critical reading, math problem-solving, and writing skills of all students, at every level is critical if we are going to graduate students prepared for college, career and life.
