Urban Lending Solutions Makes Black Enterprise 100 List for Second Year
Consistently ranked as one of the nation's top performing black businesses

Urban Settlement Solutions, LLC., one of the largest minority owned Settlement Service Companies in the nation, has been named for the second concurrent year to the Black Enterprise Magazine's lists of top 100 businesses this year.
The magazine's annual rankings place Urban Lending Solutions at No. 68 on the list for Industrial Services Companies. The company moved up from No. 82 the previous year; it had sales of $55.00 million last year.
Nearly doubling in size 2009, with offices in Pittsburgh, PA and Broomfield, CO, Urban Lending Solutions was previously known as Urban Settlement Services prior to the name change earlier this year. Urban changed the name to reflect the company's expansion of products and services for mortgage origination and servicing, including new offerings in the outsourced underwriting, Appraisal Management and Valuation Services, loss mitigation and Market to Market.
"We are truly proud of this distinction and it is an honor to be recognized by one of the nation's leading business publications. As one of the top performing companies, my team is focused on leading the charge to create opportunities for homeownership and provide solutions that will keep Americans in their homes,  commented Charles Sanders, the company's CEO and Founder.  "Additionally, we are also committed to giving back to our communities," added  Sanders, whose charity (Chuck Sanders Charities), awarded over $500,000 thousand dollars in scholarships last year.
With more than 800% growth since 2006, Urban Lending Solutions established itself as one of the largest national providers of home retention services in addition to the title, appraisal and closing services it has offered for more than 10 years. Urban is a leading supplier of real estate information solutions to mortgage lenders, services and government agencies. Since 2008, the company processed approximately well over 1 million loan work-outs that helped tens of thousands of families keep their home.
To be eligible for the BE 100 list, a company must be at least 51% black-owned and have been fully operational for the previous calendar year. The company must manufacture or own the products it sells or provide industrial or consumer services. The listing is recognized as the most respected measure of black-owned business performance.
While it is important that Urban Lending Solutions is a certified Minority Owned Business (MBE) through the NMSDC (National Minority Supplier Diversity Council), Urban's success come from its consistent performance as a tier-1, high scorecard vendor for many of the nation's Top 10 banks and mortgage servicers. It is also due to the company's advocacy position working with lenders to help American families achieve and protect the dream of homeownership.
The rankings appear in the magazine's June issue, to review Urban Lending Solutions profile on the B.E. list by internet you can find it at the following link:
